> Music of Remembrance Artists Valerie Muzzolini Valerie Muzzolini, harp, has been the principal harpist with the Seattle Symphony since age 23. Born in Nice, Ms. Muzzolini began to study harp at age 7, and made her first national television appearance when she was nine. She studied with Elizabeth Fontan-Binoche at the Nice National Conservatory, where she graduated with top honors in 1994. She received her bachelor degree from The Curtis Institute of Music, and went on to Yale University for graduate studies. She has performed at the Tanglewood and Verbier festivals, and performed under the baton of conductors Sir Simon Rattle, Wolfgang Sawallisch, Kurt Masur, Seiji Ozawa and Bernard Haitink. She is the harpist in David Stock’s A Vanished World, recorded on Art from Ashes, Volume I.< BACK |
