Vanessa Isiguen

Soprano Vanessa Isiguen has been praised as “radiant” by the New York Times. She began this season in the title role of Cio-Cho-san in Madama Butterfly with Eugene Opera, and made her New Orleans Opera debut as Mimi in La Bohème.  Earlier she appeared as Cio-Cio-san with Florida Grand Opera, and was a featured soloist at the Royal Opera House at Covent Garden singing “Un bel di vedremo” from Butterfly. Also at home with contemporary opera, she has performed with the Metropolitan Opera as Spirit in The Sorrows of Frederick by Scott Wheeler, at Glilmmerglass Opera as Roberta Alden in An American Tragedy by Tobias Picker, and in New York as Beatrice Russo of Il Postino by Daniel Catàn. Vanessa is thrilled to be part of tonight’s world premiere of Tres minutos.
