Webinar: CD Release Party for The Parting

Earlier this month, Naxos Records released Music of Remembrance’s recording of The Parting by composer Tom Cipullo and librettist David Mason. It’s an occasion for celebration, and in ordinary times we’d plan an event to launch the recording. Instead, we’re planning a virtual CD release party on Zoom... and YOU’RE INVITED!
Join us to meet members of the cast and creative team that brought the world this compelling new work.

If you were with us last year for our world premiere in Seattle and San Francisco, you’ll remember its spellbinding tribute to the life and art of Hungarian poet Miklós Radnóti, one of the most important literary witnesses to the Holocaust and one of its tragic victims. The recording features the same amazing cast: Michael Mayes as Radnóti, Laura Strickling as his wife Fanni, and Catherine Cook as a phantasmic presence hovering over them as an angel of both life and death.
